Customize your children’s clothes before going back to school

With the return to school comes the task of personalizing children’s clothing so that it is not confused with the rest. Especially in centers where a uniform is worn and it is much easier to go wrong and bring home the wrong sweater or jacket. But even without all children dressing the same, little ones tend to get confused and mistakes are easy.

With the custom ribbons that can be sewn on the inside of the clothes of the little ones these mistakes are much easier to avoid. The name of the child can be written on the tape with a waterproof permanent marker and so, when in doubt, your child will always know what his coat is.

If another child takes your child’s garment home by mistake, the return will be much easier because they will know exactly who they have to give it to. This will save a coat or sweater from spending days hanging around until you return home.

These tapes are unremarkable and no machine is required to type the name. You just have to choose a ribbon of the same type of hair ties or those used to decorate baby clothes. The only requirement is that it is neither too wide nor too narrow for easy typing.

The tape can be sewn next to the label on the back of the neck of sweaters or on the inside of any garment next to the size label, for example. It can even be tied in sports shoes, using a small and discreet ribbon that will not disturb the child’s foot.

These tapes are good for even children who can’t read to still identify their clothes. They will know that it is the one with the ribbon in their favorite color and it will not be so difficult for them to recognize their things. An economical solution that is easy to carry out and that works.

A perfect idea that can also be applied in your class things, such as your pencil case or your backpack. The child will learn to be more responsible for her things and to feel more identified with them, especially if she is allowed to choose the color of the ribbon so that it is her favorite shade.
